EDIT: I couldn't find the original file to edit in PS; So I used my MAD editing skills to correct a grammar mistake;

asked me on my profile if I had any advice to offer her, I thought of what to say, and realized I couldn't just put it all into words.

Now this isn't just for her, not all of it applies, but I've been meaning to make this for a WHILE. I plan on going more in depth later on in a bigger tutorial, but hopefully this will do for now :3

Yes, I did this drawing in PAINT TOOL SAI, but the advice is perfectly valid for Photoshop.
